What is a tethered shoot?A tethered shoot is a way for a model and photographer to conduct a photoshoot from seperate locations. Using Zoom Video Conferencing for communicating and screen sharing, giving the photographer remote access to the EOS Utility tethering software on my monitor, allowing the photographer to control the settings of my camera, select the focus point and fire the shutter.

How do I get the RAW files from a tethered shoot?Your images are saved as RAW files and JPEGs an SD card (300MB/s Read 260MB/s Write). Using wifi and a high-speed card reader to upload the images to Wetransfer Pro immediately after our shoot. You will then receive a link via email to download the files. Equipment: SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-II 300MB/s SanDisk Extreme Pro SD UHS-II Card Reader/Writer

Who owns copyright?As the creator, arranging the shoot, directing and making creative choices, you own the copyright of the images from a remote shoot as you release the shutter.

I would like to shoot from different angles, how can this be achieved?"I am there to assist and take direction in the studio, the camera will be on a tripod and if you would like the camera moved around, angled or zoomed in/out, I will do so at your request. I’ve seen images from virtual shoots using webcams and mobile phones and the quality isn’t very good, how is this different?"We will be using professional studio lighting, a 32.5-megapixel camera and high-quality lenses, you will be able to select the focus point and obtain sharp images. What software do I need?You will need to register with Zoom.us for us to communicate and screen share.

Do I need a webcam?It is not essential to be on camera, however, if you have a webcam or your computer/laptop has a built-in camera then you are more than welcome to use it for a more face-to-face experience.

Can I shoot portraits, boudoir, glamour and fashion in a tethered shoot?"Yes. I shoot all my usual styles, the same as a face-to-face shoot.

I would like a signed model release, is it possible?"I am happy to sign a model release and email it back to you.

What are your rates?A half-day shoot (3 hours) is £180

Why does it is cost the same as shooting in person?My time, effort and preparation are the same for every photoshoot. Which includes preparing hair and makeup, sorting outfits and accessories for the shoot, arranging the studio and setting up the technical aspect, then modelling and assisting in the studio throughout the shoot. I give 100% of my strong work ethic, knowledge, experience and professional approach to every photoshoot, remotely and face-to-face equally.

What is the rate in my currency?A four-hour shoot is £160 Subject to exchange rate fluctuations: USD - 225 EUR - 210 CHF - 220 Currency converter: https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter

Can I book 1 or 2 hours?The minimum booking is 3 hours at £180. This allows time for you to get familiar with the studio and equipment and test the software. Time to discuss styling and change sets and adjust lighting. Also allowing time for changing outfits and for hair and makeup touchups. We can achieve approximately 4-6 sets in 3 hours depending on the intricacies of each style.

Can I send you my ideas in advance.Yes. Once you have booked, I encourage you to create a moodboard or provide a general idea of what you would like to achieve so that I can get prepared. You can email your descriptions, images, lighting plans, whatever you feel necessary to plan the shoot.
